“I would be remiss if I didn't note that you don't actually get anything in this set for the police officers to do. There are no criminals (or even innocent townsfolk to interrogate for fun). I think had one of the two helmeted officers been a criminal instead that this set... More would have had much more play value. As it is, it's a solid set to bolster your police department but that's pretty much it. I like though since one of my other birthday presents was a new police station!”

“I rate this set as a average set. Although this set has good minifigures, give me some good pieces, and expand your City police forces, but if you compare this set to 7279, 60042, and the other $15 - $20 sets, it's expensive for what you get.”

About City Police

Police has been part of LEGO City from the start in 2005, and police sets go back further still, to the Town theme of the late 1970s. Police comes back every year or two with a new wave built around a police station, the anchor of the range, which has been rebuilt every few years since 7237 Police Station of 2005.

Police was introduced in 2005 and currently consists of 110 sets. As of today, 7237-2 Police Station is the most valuable Police set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $496.
Summary
City Police Police Accessory Pack set 850617 was released in March 2013, retailing for $15, but has since been retired. New, unopened Police Accessory Pack sets are valued at $22, while used sets can be found for $18.
