Insights

Released in 2010 and retired in 2011, the Star Wars Magnet Set, a Gear subtheme Exclusive, draws collector interest for its uncommon character mix including Onaconda Farr, and its short run and discontinued glued-minifigure format have left sealed examples scarce, while demand and liquidity lag compared with mainline Star Wars releases.

Facts

The magnets includes Onaconda Farr, Nute Gunray and Chancellor Palpatine minifigures.
The minifigures were detachable unlike newer magnet sets.

Brickset

“This is a good set to get if you don't want to spend $150 to get these figures. Overall, this is a really good way to get these figures if you missed out on the sets they came in. It is really expensive, but if you find it on sale and you missed these figures, this is a... More must-buy.”

BrickEconomy Expert Review

“This LEGO Star Wars minifigure set offers a unique opportunity to acquire rare characters without investing in larger, more expensive sets. Highlighted by their distinctive and uncommon design elements, such as dark red and sand green pants, unique torsos, and particularly rare facial expressions, these minifigures stand out for collectors. Notably, this set marks the last year that minifigure magnets are detachable.”
