LEGO's Seasonal Magnets subtheme, introduced in 2006, comprises six sets featuring holiday-themed minifigures and builds attached to magnetic bases for display on metal surfaces. Notable releases include the 4499565 Xmas Magnet Set (2006), featuring a Santa Claus minifigure, and the 853353 Christmas Scene Magnet (2011), which includes a Santa minifigure alongside a buildable tree and presents. Initially, these minifigures were detachable, but later designs fixed them to the bases to comply with LEGO's collectible policies.
