“All in all, the Manas is a set that strikes a balance between both Technic and Bionicle, and could even serve as a segue for younger kids into the more complex world of Technic. On the other hand, it's a great retro addition to any Bionicle collector. Nowadays this set is... More actually uncommon - at the time of this posting there are less than 10 lots available on Bricklink, most of them over the MSRP. There are a few flaws, but none of them overwhelmingly degrading to the set.”

“This set is a fun set to have and it's fun to play with as well. The build took me a while but it's fun to build this set for sure and we also don't need to worry about stickers. This is the ONLY remote-controlled BIONICLE set which LEGO ever made. There're some nice buttons... More on the remote control which makes this set able to maneuver and tho move th claws.”

“Each Manas contains a battery-powered motor brick. These motor bricks are each controlled by battery-powered infrared remote controls. A total of 12 AA batteries are needed to power both Manas. Each device has three frequencies, so three Manas can be controlled in an area at... More once.”

About Bionicle Rahi

Rahi are non-intelligent creatures in BIONICLE that live in the wild. Most Rahi vehicles and characters were created by the Brotherhood of Makuta whose original job was to create and alter creatures as needed. Even though most Rahi are little more than generic creatures a few have appeared in prominent roles in the BIONICLE storyline.

Rahi consists of 6 sets that ran from 2001 to 2003. As of today, 8539 Manas is the most valuable Rahi set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $456.
Summary
