LEGO 8540 Vakama is a Bionicle Turaga set released in 2001, containing 28 pieces. The build depicts Turaga Vakama in red and orange, wearing a Noble Kanohi Huna and carrying a staff, with a rear lever that actuates an arm-swinging function. An identical promotional version, 1417 Vakama, was distributed with Kabaya candy in Japan in 2001. The same build was also issued in different packaging as a Woolworths polybag in the United Kingdom in 2003.

“Vakama wears an orange Noble Huna. A lever is present on Vakama's back, connected to his right arm, so lowering it causes him to lift his Firestaff. The arm is automatically lowered due to a rubber band connecting the lever to his neck.”
