LEGO 8585 Hafu is a Bionicle Matoran set released in 2003 under the Matoran subtheme, containing 25 pieces. The set builds the Po-Matoran Hafu with a Kolhii stick and ball, and includes a gear mechanism that swings the arms left and right. It represents Hafu after being rebuilt following the Bohrok-Kal attacks in Bionicle storyline. A second variation, 8585-2, was issued as a Kabaya promotional set in Japan by Kabaya Foods.

A new and sealed Hafu is currently valued at around $46, with annual growth of approximately 5%. The average used price is $23 for those in good overall condition. About Bionicle Matoran

The Matoran are BIONICLE citizens and are smaller than Toa warriors. There are several types of Matoran including Ko-Matoran, Ga-Matoran, Ta-Matoran, Le-Matoran, Onu-Matoran, Po-Matoran, and Av-Matoran. Various Matoran characters were made into more significant characters some even becoming Toa. If a Matoran from each Metru or Koro wish to combine their bodies they can form a being called a Matoran Nui.

Matoran consists of 35 sets that ran from 2001 to 2008. As of today, 8546 Bionicle Power Pack is the most valuable Matoran set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $184.

Master stone carver!
Hafu is known throughout Po-Koro for his skill at carving stone. Even though he can sometimes get too wrapped up in his work, the other Po-Matoran all like and trust him. Set includes koli ball and koli stick.
