“Hafu is a brilliant little set. He has a great color scheme and a Kolhii Stick, which can be swung back and forth by turning a knob on his back. His build is simple yet satisfying.”

“By combining pieces from Hafu with 8581 Kopeke, 8582 Matoro, 8583 Hahli, 8584 Hewkii, and 8586 Macku, one can build a four-armed being and quadrupedal beast, though official instructions were never released. Additionally, the Kabaya version of the set included instructions... More to combine pieces from Hafu with 8584 Hewkii and 8586 Macku to build a being wielding two Kolhii Sticks.”

About Bionicle Matoran

The Matoran are the villagers of BIONICLE, small figures each with a mask and a tool, belonging to one of the six elemental tribes, fire, water, air, earth, stone and ice. The first ones came in 2001, and they were the people the Toa heroes were sent to protect. Several of them became heroes later in the story. Takua became Takanuva, the Toa of Light, in 2003, and in 2006 Jaller, Hahli, Kongu, Nuparu, Hewkii and Matoro were turned into the Toa Inika.

Matoran consists of 35 sets that ran from 2001 to 2008. As of today, 8546 Bionicle Power Pack is the most valuable Matoran set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $187.
