About Bionicle Matoran

The Matoran are BIONICLE citizens and are smaller than Toa warriors. There are several types of Matoran including Ko-Matoran, Ga-Matoran, Ta-Matoran, Le-Matoran, Onu-Matoran, Po-Matoran, and Av-Matoran. Various Matoran characters were made into more significant characters some even becoming Toa. If a Matoran from each Metru or Koro wish to combine their bodies they can form a being called a Matoran Nui.

Matoran consists of 35 sets that ran from 2001 to 2008. As of today, 8546 Bionicle Power Pack is the most valuable Matoran set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $150.

In the time before time, Metru Nui, city of legends, faces danger unlike any it has known before. A mysterious and powerful menace threatens the city, striking from the shadows and then disappearing, leaving rubble in its wake. Six Matoran hold the keys to its defeat, but they have disappeared!
