LEGO 8660 Arctic Rescue Unit is a Technic Arctic set released in 1986, containing 385 pieces and 2 Technic figures. The rescue vehicle features four-wheel steering on both front and rear axles operated by an overhead control or the cabin steering wheel, and includes a small snow plow stowed at the rear. It uses six large 13x24 Model Team wheels and was the first Technic model to employ them. It is also the first Technic set with more than four wheels and the first to introduce four-wheel steering.
