“I have never seen weights of such design before and I believe this is something new. One thing which bothers me, is the short length of the rod. If its meant for weightlifting, it ought to be done with 2 arms instead of 1 arm, but I am certain that this can be rectified... More easily by finding a much longer rod to extend the length.”

“The paint on the figure looks great though with the belt being detailed down to threading while the top of his tank top has a 2×2 brick and a dumbbell on it. The Weightlifter is definitely in horrible pain based on his sweat drenched face. There isn’t much to the... More Weightlifter figure. The color scheme is hideous but it works, the paint is all impeccable.”

The Minifigures Series 2 (8684) is the second series of collectable minifigures that was released in September 2010 and contains sixteen collectable minifigures. Series 2 was packaged in blind, blue polybags but again featured a barcode system that inadvertently helped collectors to identify the contents before buying.

Series 2 was introduced in 2010 and currently consists of 19 sets. As of today, Series 2 Sealed Box is the most valuable Series 2 set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $669.
