“The Explorer is wearing the classic attire of a khaki suit with pockets on the legs and chest, a belt strapped across and a silver canteen fastened in place. His neck is covered by a dashing red scarf which makes me think it’s to cover up the flannel shirt for him to reveal... More that he wanted to be a lumberjack.”

About Minifigure Series Series 2

The Minifigures Series 2 (8684) is the second series of collectable minifigures that was released in September 2010 and contains sixteen collectable minifigures. Series 2 was packaged in blind, blue polybags but again featured a barcode system that inadvertently helped collectors to identify the contents before buying.

Series 2 was introduced in 2010 and currently consists of 19 sets. As of today, Series 2 Sealed Box is the most valuable Series 2 set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $669.
