“e is one of the six Toa Inika. He is armed with a Zamor Sphere Launcher on his shoulder, a Laser Drill, and two Great Claws on each hand. The reason for having his Zamor Sphere Launcher on his shoulder rather than in one hand is probably because his Laser Drill is too heavy... More to hold with one hand. He wears the Kadin, the Great Mask of Flight. In the BIONICLE storyline, he is a Toa of Earth who loves technology of all sorts. Despite being a Toa of Earth he loved to fly. This is Nuparu's second appearance in a set, and the first set where he was featured by himself.”

About Bionicle Toa Inika

The Toa Inika BIONICLE were a group of Matoran from Metru Nui that were transformed into Toa by the Red Star that shot out a bolt of lightning on their way to Voya Nui. Toa Inika had Zamor Launchers constructed by Velika, loaded with Zamor Spheres, filled with Energized Protodermis. The Toa Inika's masks were organic, as well as alive. The Toa Inika's Elemental Powers were all permanently entwined with Lightning, which means that they cannot separate their Elemental Power from the Lightning.

Toa Inika was introduced in 2006 and currently consists of 6 sets. As of today, 8729 Toa Nuparu is the most valuable Toa Inika set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $128.
