“This tricycle released in 1993 is one of the biggest motorcycles in the Technic line and the only large scale 3 wheeler. It features front steering and suspension and a rear V-4 reciprocating engine. The rear tires are uncharacteristically huge, but it turns out that there... More is a reason for this.”

“The Street Chopper from the Lego Technic series is the first trike ever to be offered as a model. First of all, it impresses with the size of its rear wheels, which look like huge cylinders. The assembly itself is fun and the model can be built up relatively quickly. It’s... More also quite stable, so you can play well with it. But you can only ride the trike, there are no other functions, so it gets only four stars in the overall rating.”

About Technic

TECHNIC is one of The LEGO Company's main lines based on creating detailed model machines and mechanical toys with specialized beams, axles, gears and connectors and primarily designed for older children and adults. The theme was first introduced as the Expert Builder series in 1977, but was officially renamed as TECHNIC in 1984. TECHNIC is still an active theme, and is one of the longest running themes in LEGO history. While most TECHNIC sets are vehicles that use pieces to mimic real vehicles, such as engine pieces, suspension, pneumatic, and transmission pieces, the TECHNIC parts have been used by various other System themes as well as LEGO Mindstorms.

The new electric mini-motors are only the size of a 4-stud brick. They are connected by a cable to the 9 volt control panel and can also interact with a larger motor, so you can control 2 functions simultaneously (e.g. forward/backward).
