“Kalmah is one of the six Barraki. He is red in colour and has three blue eyes. He has two tentacles attached to one hand and a Squid Launcher in the other. The set also comes with two Sea Squids that can be attached to two holders on his back, despite the box showing them at... More the top of his arm, but below the shoulders. In the BIONICLE universe, he lost his third eye to Pridak. He also discovered the vampire Squid. Some images of him have dark red Hordika feet, although he has upgraded versions instead.”

“Kalmah is a visually striking set with a balanced dark red and black color scheme, accented by vibrant orange tentacles. The squid motif is well-executed with unique pieces like the squid launcher and flexible tentacles, adding playability and detail. While the set introduces some fantastic new molds, including the squid, pincers, and armor pieces, the simple Piraka-style build feels a bit dated, and the bright orange tentacles clash slightly with the overall design.”
 

About Bionicle Barraki

The Barraki are an alliance of warlords, comprised of Pridak, Kalmah, Mantax, Carapar, Takadox and Ehlek. After being trapped there for a while, they later escaped and sought to claim the Mask of Life, which had inadvertantly wound up in Mahri Nui. After a lengthy ordeal with the Toa Mahri, the Mask of Life was used to revive Mata Nui, with the Barraki failing to fulfill their mission.

Barraki was introduced in 2007 and currently consists of 6 sets. As of today, 8917 Kalmah is the most valuable Barraki set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $158.
