“The LEGO Technic set offers an impressive piece count and some exciting new elements like the mini turntable and a fun-to-build gearbox for its four functions. While the truck looks great and includes motorized stabilizers, the playability is disappointing. The crane arm lacks proper reach, the hood plops open awkwardly, and the stabilizers don’t truly support the truck.”
 

About Technic

TECHNIC is one of The LEGO Company's main lines based on creating detailed model machines and mechanical toys with specialized beams, axles, gears and connectors and primarily designed for older children and adults. The theme was first introduced as the Expert Builder series in 1977, but was officially renamed as TECHNIC in 1984.
