“The 4x4 Crawler from the Lego Technic series is another very well-made model, although its looks need some getting used to. But once you have built it, you become an immediate fan of the model. The assembly is sometimes a bit boring. Today's building instructions are so... More detailed that no mistakes can be made at all, which is actually a pity, because Lego Technic loses a lot of its appeal. In addition, the undercarriage is identical on all four wheels, i.e. nearly the same unit is built up 4 times. Unfortunately, this top model from 2012 has only a few functions, so Lego made it radio-controlled.”

About Technic

TECHNIC is one of The LEGO Company's main lines based on creating detailed model machines and mechanical toys with specialized beams, axles, gears and connectors and primarily designed for older children and adults. The theme was first introduced as the Expert Builder series in 1977, but was officially renamed as TECHNIC in 1984.
