“Over that last few years Starter Set has been a particularly good investment for Ninjago collectors with an annualized growth of upwards of 17.6% per year. However, there is market indication that the set will experience a slight annual growth decrease in the coming years, but this should be only by a few percentage points at most. When compared to the vast majority of set in the Ninjago theme, this set is still an excellent investment for collectors.”

About Ninjago Spinners

Spinners is a subtheme of Ninjago that consists of 36 sets that as of now ran from 2011 to 2012. As of today, 2521 Lightning Dragon Battle is the most valuable set in Ninjago Spinners with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $742.29.

LEGO Ninjago, also known as Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, theme was introduced in 2011 and included sets that are based off of original storylines, a TV series and The LEGO Ninjago Movie, a movie based on the theme. The main premise of the Ninjago universe is based around six teenage Ninja, Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, Nya, and Lloyd, who have been trained by their master Sensei Wu, fighting forces of evil to protect the land of Ninjago. The ninjas use a LEGO inspired fighting style known as Spinjitzu where the fighters spin around and draw on their elemental strengths to become tornadoes of energy and each of the main protagonist characters is aligned to a particular element.
