Set Value (New/Sealed)

This represents the current new/sealed value of the set Penguin since January 2009. Medium accuracy

LEGO Penguin is a Promotional Monthly Mini Model Build set released in 2009, containing 16 pieces. The set builds a small penguin model in a simple, stylized format typical of the Monthly Mini Model Build series. It was distributed at official LEGO Brand Stores to registered VIP members as part of an in-store promotional event. Based on current trends, this set could be valued near $15 within the next year.

Penguin is a rare LEGO set. We have not seen set MMMB002-1 available in good/new condition online or in retail stores for over 2 years. Given how hard it is to find, the estimated value in new condition of $14.65 may not reflect its true collectible worth.

There are currently no new/sealed listings available for Penguin at this time.

Insights

Released as a Promotional Monthly Mini Model Build in 2009, Penguin was handed out at short in-store events so sealed examples are scarce, and its very small, non-exclusive animal micro-build design limits differentiation and long-term upside, appealing mostly to promo completists rather than investors.
