LEGO Newsstand was a 155 piece Exclusive promotional set with 1 minifig released in 2020. The LEGO Newsstand Building Event was held at LEGO Brand Stores as part of a "make and take" build in conjunction with the launch of set 10270-1 LEGO Creator Bookshop in January of 2020.

The current value for a new and sealed Newsstand is estimated around $89 today with current average yearly gain of about 22% but will level off in the next year closer to a 14% annual growth making it a solid investment. On the open market, a used set will fetch in the range of between $26 and $32 depending on the condition.
Newsstand is a pretty rare set these days as we have not seen set NEWSSTAND-1 currently for sale online or in retail in new and good condition in over one year. The current value of this set might be slightly higher then what we have estimated at this time. The last brand new Newsstand seen was sold on ebay.com.

“As far as parts are concerned, I believe the 1×6 sand blue plates are exclusive. There were sand blue plates released before but they were last used in 2003. The build itself is pretty cool and it complements the new LEGO Creator Bookshop (10270) very well. I will say the... More instructions could have been better. All in all, getting this 155 piece set for free was awesome since it would have probably cost $10-15 if LEGO sold it by itself.”

An Amazing Gift from LEGO — “The only really stand-out element provided was the tan 2x2 tile with the newspaper print on it. This element has previously only appeared in the following three relatively high-price sets, so its inclusion at this price-point is very welcome. This set was an amazing value.... More appreciate what LEGO did here: throwing in a minifigure with accessories, two printed newspaper tile, and several hard to find parts like those trans clear blue flag pieces used for the roof.”
