Lufthansa Co-Branded LEGO Sets

LEGO and Lufthansa have enjoyed a long-running promotional partnership that has produced several exclusive airline-themed sets over multiple decades. The collaboration began in the late 1970s with 1560 Airliner, 1561 Lufthansa Flight Crew, and 1562 Biplane, all featuring Lufthansa branding and distributed as promotional giveaways through the airline. These early sets were part of LEGO’s LEGOLAND and Building Set with People lines, aimed at children traveling with the airline. Decades later, the partnership was revived with 40146 Lufthansa Plane (2015), a modern promotional polybag featuring a small passenger jet in Lufthansa colors, once again distributed primarily on flights or through Lufthansa’s WorldShop program.
