Williams F1 was a licensed, 2 set subtheme of LEGO Racers that lasted from 2002-2003. LEGO Williams F1 contained 2 sets, set Williams F1 Team Racer was a 1:27 scale version with a minifigure and Williams F1 Team Racer was a TECHNIC model of a Williams F1 car.
The LEGO Racers theme which was introduced in 2001 was the successor of LEGO Race. Since the theme started, most race cars in LEGO System and TECHNIC universe have been released under the LEGO Racers theme. Racers was discontinued in 2012 and it was succeeded by Speed Champions, introduced in 2015.
