About LEGO Town Shops and Services

LEGO Service and Repair is a Town subtheme which ran from 1980 to 2003 and was centered around car workshops, service stations, shops and stores. In total, it contained 27 sets and was later replaced by the City theme.
1980 LEGO Sets
1980 refreshed the 12V Train system with remote-controlled points, signals, lighting, and decouplers, creating one of LEGO’s most sophisticated play ecosystems.
