About LEGO Town Maintenance
LEGO Town was one of the LEGO Group's core themes which was based on town life and included sets such as emergency services like police and fire and civilian sets such as cars. LEGO Town incorporates many subthemes, which focus on a specific area of Town such as airport, artic, city, divers, flight, rescue, space and various others.
1990 LEGO Sets
In 1990, LEGO released several new sets and themes, including the LEGO Pirates theme, which introduced models of pirate ships, islands, and treasure. 1990 was also the year that LEGO introduced the LEGO Fabuland theme, which was a line of sets featuring anthropomorphic animal characters living in a fictional town. The Fabuland theme was targeted towards younger children and was popular for its cute, colorful designs.
