
The Baby theme is designed for very young children and was first released in 2000 as part of the DUPLO style theme. It the predecessor of DUPLO Primo theme (1995-1996) then the LEGO Primo theme (1997-1999). LEGO Baby was discontinued in 2006. The bay parts where not that compatible with standard LEGO bricks since the bricks are larger to prevent babies from swallowing them. However, standard bricks of the same length and width can be attached to the bottom of Baby bricks and adapter pieces are also available.
2005 LEGO Sets
In 2005, LEGO saw major developments in set design, theme evolution, and digital expansion, marking a turning point for collectors and the company's resurgence. One of the most notable milestones was the 50th anniversary of the LEGO System, celebrating five decades of the iconic brick's interlocking design.
