Education is a LEGO theme designed specifically for schools that concentrates sets that can be used by education institutions and includes sets the focus on DUPLO and TECHNIC themes and contain larger amounts of pieces. Initially LEGO Education was known as Dacta.
2013 LEGO Sets
In 2013, LEGO expanded its licensed and original themes, making it a pivotal year for collectors and investors. One of the biggest launches was LEGO Legends of Chima, a fantasy-based animal warrior theme, which was heavily promoted alongside the premiere of The Legends of Chima TV series on Cartoon Network. Designed as a successor to Ninjago, Chima introduced tribal factions, specialized vehicles, and mystical energy sources, making it one of LEGO’s most ambitious in-house themes.
