Education is a LEGO theme designed specifically for schools that concentrates sets that can be used by education institutions and includes sets the focus on DUPLO and TECHNIC themes and contain larger amounts of pieces. Initially LEGO Education was known as Dacta.

2016 LEGO Sets

2016 saw some truly iconic releases with sets from Ghostbusters and the introduction of the Nexo Knights. LEGO also released the licensed, but short-lived The Angry Birds Movie theme. However, LEGO did discontinue Legends of Chima, Pirates and also the LEGO Simpsons which only did see a couple of sets.
