The LEGO City Beach subtheme captures seaside life with sets focused on lifeguards, beachgoers, and recreational vehicles. Releases include 60082 Dune Buggy Trailer, 60153 People Pack Fun at the Beach, 60328 Beach Lifeguard Station, and the 2025 Lifeguard Beach Rescue Truck (60453). The sets combine sand-toned builds, surfboards, watercraft, and summer minifigures to expand City layouts with a coastal setting.
2017 LEGO Sets
Two films anchored 2017: The LEGO Batman Movie and The LEGO Ninjago Movie, each with extensive waves and a dedicated CMF series. BrickHeadz moved from limited releases to a full collectible line, and LEGO Boost introduced approachable coding and robotics. Several short-lived lines from prior years, including the BIONICLE reboot and Mixels, were no longer active.
