LEGO brought two worlds together with Jurassic World x Camp Cretaceous crossover building sets. Both series follow a linear story, but none of the characters actually meet in their retrospective series. That all changes as LEGO reveals three special sets that are loaded with ferocious dinosaurs, Camp Cretaceous camper minifigures, and heroes from the Jurassic World films. Each set will include a pair of campers from the animated series as well as a Claire or Owen to help the kids battle crazy dinosaurs.
2021 LEGO Sets
In 2021, LEGO continued its trajectory of product expansion and innovation. One notable addition was the "LEGO VIDIYO" theme, introduced in partnership with Universal Music Group, which combined physical sets with a digital music video making experience. The company also expanded the "LEGO Art" series, allowing adults and older fans to create wall art based on various franchises. Existing themes like "Star Wars," "City," "Technic," and others received new set additions. Sustainability efforts were underscored with the announcement of prototype bricks made from recycled plastic.
