
The theme is based on The Island, a Ninjago miniseries that consisted of four episodes that preceded by Season 13 Master of the Mountain and succeeded by Season 14 Seabound. The sets focused on the ninja's against the Keepers and Ronin's criminal group. The Island's main collectable items were the Storm Amulet and many sets where based Island of the Keepers.
2021 LEGO Sets
In 2021, LEGO continued its expansion and innovation, introducing new digital-physical hybrid experiences while reinforcing its commitment to sustainability. One of the most notable additions was LEGO VIDIYO, a collaboration with Universal Music Group, designed to let users create digital music videos using augmented reality (AR) and LEGO BeatBits. The theme blended physical collectible minifigures with app-based interaction, but despite its unique concept, it was short-lived and later discontinued due to low engagement.
