Notable releases include the 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr, a detailed model of Sauron's fortress; the 10306 Atari 2600, a faithful recreation of the classic gaming console; and the 10391 Over the Moon with Pharrell Williams, inspired by the animated musical film O.T.M. 2040. Other sets in this subtheme are the 10338 Bumblebee, capturing the beloved Transformer character, and the 40693 Fell Beast, depicting a Nazgûl's mount from The Lord of the Rings. 2024 LEGO Sets
In 2024, LEGO broadened its creative reach through major new licenses, digital experiences, and sustainability goals. The LEGO Dune theme debuted with the Atreides Royal Ornithopter, faithfully capturing the design of the 2021 film. A landmark collaboration with Epic Games introduced LEGO Fortnite, blending survival, building, and over 1,200 minifigure-style characters. Other notable releases included LEGO Animal Crossing and LEGO The Legend of Zelda, expanding LEGO’s Nintendo partnership, and LEGO Wicked, tied to the upcoming musical film. LEGO Despicable Me returned alongside sets for the new Despicable Me 4 movie, while LEGO Star Wars marked its 25th anniversary with commemorative editions. Sustainability remained central to LEGO’s mission as it reaffirmed goals to use 50% renewable or recycled materials by 2026 and phase out fossil-based plastics by 2032.
