Review for LEGO set 4428 City Advent Calendar from
“The 2012 City Advent Calendar is a mixed bag, with some creative inclusions and some uninspired days. The calendar introduces a mix of fire-themed items, winter-related builds, and everyday city elements, though the fire theme dominates. The multiple supply racks, generic... More firefighter designs, and lack of variety in builds make some days feel redundant.”
About City Seasonal
The Seasonal minifigures come mostly from the LEGO City Advent Calendars, opened one door at a time in December. Santa Claus is in almost every one, in a different outfit each year, joined by elves, a snowman and an elf mailman. Each calendar also brings City people in winter clothes, ice hockey players, skaters and families, and children dressed as a Christmas tree, a polar bear or a reindeer. The police and their crooks are regulars too, including a prisoner in a striped jail suit. Many of these figures were made only for the calendar of their year.
