Brickset
“This is more of a model, not really a play set. It has no minifigs and no little auxiliary vehicles, but it does come on a display stand with a data card, just as the other UCS sets do. It's the most acurate Lego representation of the ship. Yes, even though R2 is just a head... More (if you look at the actual fighter from the movie, it's obvious that R2 must have his body separated from his legs to fit in the droid socket--presumably this is a standard feature of astromech droids).”

“This set recreates the sleek, silver design of the spacecraft from Star Wars: Episode I with impressive detail. The use of chrome silver pieces enhances the authenticity, and the stand for display adds to its collectability. The set also includes a unique printed R2-D2 dome.... More Although it doesn't feature any minifigures, its intricate design and high-quality finish make it a must-have for Star Wars collectors and LEGO enthusiasts.”

About Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series

The Ultimate Collector Series, or UCS, holds the large display versions of Star Wars ships, vehicles and places. It began in 2000 with 7181 TIE Interceptor and 7191 X-wing Fighter. The designer of that first X-wing gave it a black stand and a printed information plaque to show it was a model to display rather than a toy, and the stand and plaque have been part of the series ever since.

Ultimate Collector Series was introduced in 2000 and currently consists of 45 sets. As of today, 10018 Darth Maul is the most valuable Ultimate Collector Series set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $4,253.
Summary
Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series Special Edition Naboo Starfighter set 10026 was released in October 2002, retailing for $40, but has since been retired. New, unopened Special Edition Naboo Starfighter sets are valued at $3,468, while used sets can be found for $432 in good condition.
