“It is not a set depicting day-to-day life in the middle ages for some peasants. Rather, it is an all-around castle set, more than the MMV can ever be. Including small fortifications, large fortifications, peasant's buildings, a sporting event, and, as I said above, at least... More one of almost every major type of castle minifig. It doesn't replace the MMV, but it is a worthy successor to the MMV.”

The Kingdoms subtheme was introduced in 2010 and ran until 2012. Kingdoms takes place in a medieval time period with sets in a European style from the 15th century and is based off of two human kingdoms fighting each other, the Lion Kingdom and the Dragon Kingdom.

Kingdoms consists of 16 sets that ran from 2010 to 2012. As of today, 7946 King's Castle is the most valuable Kingdoms set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $470.
