- The set was available exclusively through Footshop and consisted of the Adidas Originals Superstar containing an additional 243 parts and a sticker sheet to enable the stock shoe to be converted into the shop's exclusive version of the Superstar.
- Only 200 sets were produced.
- The set was packaged in a plastic zip lock bag with the pieces along with a blueprint instructions, a shoe lace and a sticker sheet. The instructions are available as a PDF at the Footshop website.
- The model is based on a right, size UK 7, EU 40 2/3, US 7 ½ shoe.
- The modification of Florian Müller’s original set 10282-1 design and building instructions was developed by Radovan Pekárek of the Czech LEGO Users Group in collaboration with Footshop and LEGO.
