Insights

Released in the late 1990s and retired, Cart (set 1186) ties to the Castle Ninja subtheme and benefits from cult-era nostalgia, with limited sealed supply and low remake risk supporting collector interest, and its small impulse format leaves trading thin and occasionally volatile.

Set Facts

It contains a Gi-Dan minifigure and a small white and blue cart.
The set is also called "Mini Siege-Cart Ninja".

“This is another one of those little carts that were so prominent during the ninja series. They are a great addition and add much playability. This particular cart is Shogun's cart and is pretty good for a cheap model.”

About Castle Ninja

Ninja was a Castle subtheme from 1998 to 2000 and the first time the theme left medieval Europe, for feudal Japan. Its sets had ninja, samurai, a shogun in his stronghold and a band of robbers, with secret doors, hidden weapons and booby traps in the buildings. 6093 Flying Ninja Fortress was the largest set. The line ended in 2000 with minifigure packs. The ninja minifigures brought new headgear and weapons that LEGO used for years after. The idea came back on a much larger scale in 2011 with Ninjago, a theme of its own.

Ninja consists of 29 sets that ran from 1998 to 2000. As of today, 3346 Three Minifig Pack Ninja #3 is the most valuable Ninja set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $788.
