The Berlin Skyline set includes the Reichstag building, Victory Column, Deutsche Bahn Tower, Berlin TV Tower, and Brandenburg Gate. Construction techniques in the Berlin set are not as complex as the Empire State Building or Freedom Tower in the New York City set, but the Bahn Tower does include a bit of studs-out construction. This Skyline set also features 3 sections of the Berlin Wall with graffiti deco, adding a historical edge to this detailed recreation. “It looks as if LEGO has another winner on its hands here. However I will court controversy by saying that I don't think the buildings are as well known or iconic as those in Venice so perhaps the set won't be as popular, especially outside of Germany. Nevertheless, there's a... More lot for the LEGO Architecture fan to relish and I suspect these cityscapes will be highly collectable, regardless of whether you are familiar with the cities and buildings portrayed or not.”

“The Berlin Wall and the glass dome on the Reichstag building are great examples of the juxtaposition of traditional and modern architecture in this set, and Berlin's skyline wouldn't be complete without the 368 meter Berlin TV Tower. But I really dislike the black obelisk of... More a structure that's supposed to be the Deutsche Bahn Tower. Although I've never been to Berlin, a quick image search online seems to show that the BahnTower's facing is blue-green glass, not black like genuinely black skyscrapers such as Columbia Tower here in Seattle or Sears Tower in Chicago. I would love to have seen what the set designers could have done with trans-light blue on something like a black core.”

The LEGO Architecture Skylines series highlights a number of famous structures within a city skyline and explores several landmarks from a single city, rather than focusing on just one building such as the Landmark Series. The series was introduced in 2016 and now contains more than a dozen sets representing cities such as New York City, Venice, Sydney, Chicago, London, Paris and many more.
