Statue of Liberty Reviews
BrickFanatics
“On display 21042 Statue of Liberty is a fantastic replica that dwarfs other Architecture models – and would make a great conversation starter for a coffee table (or a not so subtle hint that you dream of visiting the Big Apple). It will be interesting to see if the success... More of Lady Liberty will light the way for future Architecture sets of a similar size and style, with plenty of marvels like the Great Sphinx of Giza or Mount Rushmore ripe for this kind of treatment. This set comes highly recommended for fans of this long running theme.”
The Brothers Brick
“Altogether, the puzzle that is 21042 Statue of Liberty is a particularly challenging build with a stunning result. At slightly more than seven cents a piece, it is also priced reasonably considering it is the second-largest LEGO Architecture set by piece count, following the... More massive 2,276-piece 21010 Robie House.”
Brickset
“Overall, I think this is a good set, and definitely shows the high quality that we have come to expect in the Lego Architecture line. It is also a set that shows the limitations of Lego bricks when trying to capture a natural form in set of limited size. The problem I have... More with this set is its RRP. The PPP is good (quite possibly very good for an architecture set), but the Statue of Liberty now faces the competition of the Empire State Building.... and IMHO the latter is the clear winner. If you can find the set for a discount, if you like the Architecture range or would like a miniature of a famous landmark, then IMHO you should definitely go for this set.”
