The Ice Castle Reviews
Brick Fanatics
“The Ice Spikes biome in Minecraft presents an interesting challenge to players, with tall spires of ice sticking out of mountains and hills and reaching toward the sky. For some, this may serve as inspiration for a new build and it appears that the LEGO Minecraft design team... More has some experience in transforming this unique biome into a home.”
Brickset
“The Royal Warrior hasn't appeared before in a Minecraft set, but to get five additional minifigures as well immediately makes the set very playable. The castle itself is a relatively attractive model, but I'll admit that I'm not a fan of the Minecraft aesthetic and prefer... More the more detailed builds that modern LEGO parts are capable of.”

About Minecraft Minifig-scale
The LEGO Minecraft theme is based on the video game Minecraft and a collaboration between Mojang and the LEGO Group. Sets in this theme were all based on the traditional LEGO minifigure scale. Minecraft is a sandbox indie game originally created by Notch (Markus Persson) and later developed and published by Mojang / Microsoft. The official release occurred in 2013 with the first set, Minecraft: Micro World: The Forest, released under LEGO Ideas and was created by Mojang through the LEGO CUUSOO program in 2012. At MineCon 2013, LEGO announced brand new minifigure-scale Minecraft sets.
Minifig-scale was introduced in 2014 and currently consists of 129 sets. As of today,
21137 The Mountain Cave is the most valuable Minifig-scale set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,743.
