- This is the 40th release of LEGO ideas and known as LEGO Ideas No. 40.
- The project is based on Earth Globe by Guillaume Roussel (Disneybrick555) who hit the 10,000 supporter milestone for his idea on May 1, 2020. Guillaume, a French engineer created the initial model in just three days, including tile decorations and designs using “Google Earth" gridlines to identify the positions and details.
- All the prices are printed without any stickers.
- The price of the set was increased from $199.99 to $229.99 RRP in August 2022.
