21606 LEGO Minecraft The Castle Joust

LEGO 21606 The Castle Joust is a rumored Minecraft set due in January 2027, with an expected retail price of $69.99. It is one of 7 rumored Minecraft sets for 2027.

Forecast Model

This represents the expected annual growth (CAGR) based solely on a forecast model.
The Castle Joust is a medium-sized LEGO Minecraft castle tournament scene built around two jousting lanes with a central barrier and a fortified stone gatehouse backdrop. The build ties that arena to a raised royal viewing platform and grandstands, with fences and custom banners dressing it as a full event.
Details are based on early reports and may change before LEGO's official announcement.
Collector and Investor Insights
Minecraft fortress sets have generally held up better after retirement than the theme's looser terrain builds, and a castle tournament format gives this one a clearer display identity than many minifigure-scale entries. The medieval crossover angle, medium-sized footprint, and likely figure-driven appeal point to solid potential if the final execution includes distinct armor, mounts, and event-specific accessories.

About Minecraft Minifig-scale

The LEGO Minecraft theme is based on the video game Minecraft and a collaboration between Mojang and the LEGO Group. Sets in this theme were all based on the traditional LEGO minifigure scale. Minecraft is a sandbox indie game originally created by Notch (Markus Persson) and later developed and published by Mojang / Microsoft. The official release occurred in 2013 with the first set, Minecraft: Micro World: The Forest, released under LEGO Ideas and was created by Mojang through the LEGO CUUSOO program in 2012. At MineCon 2013, LEGO announced brand new minifigure-scale Minecraft sets.

Minifig-scale was introduced in 2014 and currently consists of 129 sets. As of today, 21137 The Mountain Cave is the most valuable Minifig-scale set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $1,717.
