Insights

Retired in the Baby theme, Activity Friends (2514) shows modest post-retirement appreciation driven by scarcity of sealed copies, and its lack of licensed characters or minifigures means demand is concentrated among niche collectors and trading is thin.

The set was designed for simple, early-age play within the Baby range of the era.

About Baby

The Baby theme is designed for very young children and was first released in 2000 as part of the DUPLO style theme. It the predecessor of DUPLO Primo theme (1995-1996) then the LEGO Primo theme (1997-1999). LEGO Baby was discontinued in 2006. The bay parts where not that compatible with standard LEGO bricks since the bricks are larger to prevent babies from swallowing them. However, standard bricks of the same length and width can be attached to the bottom of Baby bricks and adapter pieces are also available.
