LEGO 2996 Adventurers Tomb is an 81-piece Adventurers set released in 1998 featuring a compact desert tomb build, a small car for the character Slyboots, and two minifigures: Pharaoh Hotep and Slyboots. The tomb includes simple structural elements such as columns, a sarcophagus chamber, and decorative printed pieces referencing the Egypt subtheme. The vehicle uses a minimal chassis with space for one minifigure and accessories. The set was a limited release and was only available in the United States from LEGO Shop At Home and did not appear in the LEGO catalogs.

It obviously won't surpass Pharaoh's Forbidden Ruins, Sphinx's Secret Surprise, or even Oasis Ambush. What it can do, however, is complement those sets if you own them,...
