Insights

Released in the early 1970s and now retired, Medium House Set is a region-exclusive Minitalia piece whose Italian production details and short run have left sealed examples scarce, and while niche demand and thin trading volume add volatility, long-term post-retirement growth has been favorable.

Set Facts

It was only available in Italy and in the Minitalia catalog it was listed for L. (lire) 1500.
This set consisted of elements produced in Italy and were different to LEGO elements in a number of ways. The plastic used to produce these bricks was not ABS plastic used by LEGO and the resulting bricks were not as bright in color.
All of their bricks feature hollow Technic-style studs rather than LEGO’s traditional solid ones, though not every piece replaces the internal tubes with an X-shaped support.
