LEGO 3072-1 Megatax is a Space Insectoids set released in 1999, containing 23 pieces and 1 minifigure. The set builds a small flying jet with rear rockets, side turbines, and green laser elements. It includes Captain Wizer, a Zotaxian minifigure with a transparent fluorescent green helmet. The set is also known as Mega Tack, and an identical version was released in Japan as a boxed Kabaya sweets promotional set.

A new and sealed Megatax is currently valued at around $43, with annual growth of about 10.4% that is expected to level off to around 7.8% in the coming year. About Space Insectoids

Insectoids was a LEGO Space subtheme released in 1998 that consisted of 17 sets. The Insectoids story line was based on the cybernetic Zotaxians and their droids who fled their home planet of Zotax after a war with their leader. During the escape they crash landed on the massive planet Holox, but the planet was too hostile on the surface for survival so they tunneled underground and built cities. The Zotaxians owned vehicles called Insectoids that were insect-like in appearance and were desigend to escape the underground insects.

Insectoids consists of 17 sets that ran from 1998 to 1999. As of today, 6977 Arachnoid Star Base is the most valuable Insectoids set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $429.
