Insights

Released long after the Scala line was discontinued, Fun Fashion Boutique, with its named doll Marita and specialized fashion accessories, benefitted from post-retirement scarcity, and sealed examples have shown durable collector interest, but thin trading volume and condition sensitivity mean liquidity is limited and price swings can be larger.

It features a detailed shop interior with racks, shelves, a counter, and accessory stands intended for fashion-themed play.

About Scala

Scala is a theme that started in the late 1970s then again the late 1990 that primarily targeted at younger girls. The earlier Scala sets where a series of jewelry and beauty accessories built out of LEGO bricks, usually plates. However, in the second wave the Scala theme shifted focus to doll-like Scala Figures, their homes and interests and contained sets that included doll house like features and Scala Figure accessories such as doll clothing.
