Insights

Released as a promotional item and now retired, Kobe Bryant (3500) contains a unique licensed Lakers minifigure with a team-accurate jersey print, and its short-run polybag origin from the early Sports line has left sealed examples relatively scarce. Collectors prize the licensed figure, and that scarcity supports long-term hold potential while thin liquidity and condition sensitivity add volatility.

Set Facts

The polybag contains a minifig of Kobe Bryant and a basketball.
When Kobe passed away in a tragic helicopter accident on January 26, 2020 his minifigure more than tripled in value.
It is a co-branded set with NBA.

Brickset

“Kobe Bryant is a legend already, and is awesome as a minifigure. A player that scores 81 points in one game deserves to be a minifigure. After Magic and Jabbar, there was no one who could replace them or try to be good as they were. When Kobe was drafted, it was an amazing... More team.”
