“This is one of the better looking police boats which make use of slimpicity, yet realistic design. It comes with 2 policemen on board. Some of you might find it too simple and may not present the true power of this police boat. However, I felt that this simple design is the... More key factor.”

“Police Rescue Boat from 1987 is a vintage set with 83 pieces, including a large floating boat mold and two minifigures. While the figures lack detailed printing, the floating feature of the boat and the unique weighted brick for stability make it a standout for its time.”

About Boats

The Boats theme was a LEGO System theme that ran from 1982 to 1996 and consisted of 12 sets. Unlike most town sets, the sets in the Boats, also known as Floating Boats, really did float in water. Initiakky the boats were made from single piece hulls but later sets introduced multi-hulled boats. After 1996 boats became part of the LEGO City theme.
