“This creepy Kangaroo is a limited edition model from August 2015. It originates from the Monthly Mini Model Build, a special event which takes place at Lego stores each month where visitors watch the model being built, then receive one to take home. Since the event is on for... More just 1 day a month and each store only gets around 250 models this does at least mean there aren’t hordes of these kangaroos out in the world.”

About Monthly Mini Model Build

The LEGO Monthly Mini Model Build is an event that takes place at LEGO Stores around the world where stores offer a free LEGO model to kids ages 6-14. Kids visiting a LEGO Store can watch the monthly model being built and then receive one for free. There is a limit to participation as each store receives about 250 models each month.

Monthly Mini Model Build consists of 153 sets that ran from 2008 to 2020. As of today, Beach Chair is the most valuable Monthly Mini Model Build set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $92.
