“A nice quick (ten-minute!) build, this is the sports car and petrol pump polybag set 40277 which I think was a monthly minibuild at one point, but which was given out as the freebie for VIP Lego members in February for spending £25. And its a slightly strange looking little... More car to be sure, have to squint a bit to see it as a sports car at all. Cheerful color choices however, with the main shape achieved with just two of what is helpfully called a “front with bow“.”

About Monthly Mini Model Build

The LEGO Monthly Mini Model Build is an event that takes place at LEGO Stores around the world where stores offer a free LEGO model to kids ages 6-14. Kids visiting a LEGO Store can watch the monthly model being built and then receive one for free. There is a limit to participation as each store receives about 250 models each month.

Monthly Mini Model Build consists of 153 sets that ran from 2008 to 2020. As of today, Beach Chair is the most valuable Monthly Mini Model Build set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $93.
