Insights

A May the 4th promotional GWP, Death Star II (40591) was a short-available 2023 release whose constrained distribution and anniversary-themed display stand has kept collector interest steady, and limited supply supports post-retirement scarcity while lack of minifigures and small-scale competition moderate upside.

Jays Brick Blog

“It makes a great mini model that you can display in your house or office to show your love for LEGO Star Wars, and has a clever, detailed design that will please most Star Wars fans. On the whole, I think this is a fine GWP for this year’s May the 4th, especially as it... More commemorates the 40th Anniversary of Return of the Jedi.”
